Valentine's Day Cocktails

Love is in the air, and what better way to celebrate than with a few Valentine's Day cocktails? You could mix up some drinks to complete your romantic meal.

Champagne Margaritas 

Enjoy Valentine’s Day with some fizz. Why not try this Champagne Margarita Valentine’s Day recipe to make it extra special? Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients

  • Bottle of Champagne 
  • 50ml of Tequila 
  • 50ml of orange liqueur 
  • 50ml of fresh lime juice
  • Lime wedges
  • Salt 

Method 

  1. Combine the ingredients in a large jug and stir well. 
  2. Run the lime wedges around the edge of each champagne flute and dip them into some salt. 
  3. Divide the Margaritas between flutes and garnish with lime wedges.

Chocolate Martini 

This is the perfect combination of boozy and sweet. Our ingredients serve two people.

Ingredients 

  • 50ml of Baileys
  • 50ml of Vodka
  • 50ml of chocolate liqueur
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • Ice
  • Shaved chocolate 

Method

  1. Pour the chocolate syrup onto a shallow plate and dip the rim of a Martini glass into it to coat the rim. 
  2. Combine the Baileys, vodka and chocolate liqueur into a cocktail shaker. 
  3. Fill with ice and shake for about 20 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
  4. Divide evenly between the glasses and top with shaved chocolate. 

Cranberry Orange Whiskey Sour

Warm and spicy, but refreshing and tart - the perfect blend for a Valentine's Day cocktail. Our ingredients serve two people.

Method

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the cranberry juice, whiskey, simple syrup, orange, and lime juice. 
  2. Shake until it’s well chilled
  3. Fill the glasses with ice and strain the mixture into the glasses. 
  4. Top with ginger beer and serve. 

Moscato Margaritas 

This is a romantic take on a Classic Margarita that we are sure you’ll love! Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients

  • Bottle of Moscato Wine
  • 50ml of Tequila 
  • 50ml of Triple Sec
  • 50ml of lime juice
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • Lime wedges
  • Strawberries
  • Ice 

Method

  1. Rub the lime wedge onto the edge of two glasses and dip into the sugar. 
  2. Combine the strawberries, tequila, wine, triple sec, lime juice and ice in a blender. 
  3. Blend until smooth, then divide the mixture into two glasses. 
  4. Garnish with lime wedges and serve.

Red Wine Milkshake 

When Valentine’s Day rolls around, why not try this wine & vodka combination? Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients 

  • Bottle of Red Wine 
  • 50ml of vodka 
  • 100ml of vanilla ice cream 
  • Whipped cream 
  • Maraschino cherries 

Method

  1. In a blender, add the ice cream, red wine and vodka until smooth. 
  2. Divide between two glasses and garnish with whipped cream and cherries. 

Pink Señoritas  

Spending the day with your girls? Here’s a true Galentine’s Day favourite. Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients 

  • 50ml of Tequila 
  • 50ml of Triple Sec
  • 200ml of pink lemonade
  • 100ml of fresh lemon juice 
  • 4 lemon slices and wedges
  • Salt 
  • Ice

Method 

  1. Rub a lemon wedge around the edge of two glasses and then dip into the salt. 
  2. In each glass, add the ice, pink lemonade, lemon juice, triple sec and tequila. 
  3. Stir until combined, and garnish each glass with a lemon slice.

Strawberry Mimosas 

Breakfast in bed on Valentine’s Day is a must. Why not pop open some bubbly and change the orange for strawberry? The perfect drink to toast with your partner. Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients

  • Bottle of Prosecco or Champagne
  • 150g of fresh strawberries 
  • 1 tbsp of sugar 
  • Sliced strawberries, to garnish

Method 

  1. Using a blender or food processor, blend the strawberries, sugar and half of the bottle of prosecco or champagne until fully combined. 
  2. Pour into champagne flutes and top with more bubbly.
  3. Garnish with a strawberry slice and serve.

Pomegranate Mimosas 

Sweet and slightly tart, these bright red mimosas are perfect for V-Day. Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients 

  • Bottle of Champagne 
  • 100ml of pomegranate juice
  • Pomegranate seeds

Method

  1. In two champagne flutes, fill with pomegranate juice and top with champagne. 
  2. Garnish with pomegranate seeds.

Grapefruit Mimosas 

If sour cocktails are more your thing, why not try this Valentine’s Day recipe? Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients

  • Bottle of Champagne
  • 100ml of grapefruit juice 
  • 1 tbsp of sugar 

Method

  1. Dip two champagne flutes into some water and dip the edges into the sugar. 
  2. Add the grapefruit juice and top off with champagne.

Strawberry Shortcake Mimosas

Another one for you if orange juice won’t cut it. Our ingredients serve two people. 

Ingredients 

  • Bottle of Proseccoor Champagne 
  • 50ml of Vanilla Vodka 
  • 100ml of strawberry ice cream 
  • 50g of wafers 
  • Strawberries
  • Whipped cream

Method 

  1. Run a strawberry around the edge of a champagne flute and then dip into the crushed wafers.
  2. In each flute, drop one tablespoon of strawberry ice cream and add the vodka and top with fizz. 
  3. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of wafers and a strawberry for garnish.
